Phase Four - Fishing Coble Memorial

Allied to the Fishing Shiel Memorial and to highlight what this way of life once encompassed is the restoration of a traditional fishing coble in conjunction with the renovated structure of the fishing shiel. The owners of the ‘Old Diary’ at Ford have generously donated a Tweed fishing coble which the Trust intends to restore to its former glory and display alongside the Fishing Shiel Memorial.
