Retired head of department at Glasgow Academy.

Bill was born & raised in the village, comes from a long line of Horncliffe Robertson’s.


‘Benchmark at Grinham’s Wood – An Introduction to Our Project’

James Herriot

A Benchmark at Grinham’s Wood Trustee.

James spent his childhood & teenage years in Horncliffe & returned as a resident 40+ years ago.


‘Memorial Tablet in Remembrance of Fusilier Stuart Brown’

Thomas Burns

Aptly a young Horncliffe resident - Stuart Brown’s age when he became a POW.
